internal weather

internal weather is a movement work i created while paying closer attention to how my body responds before i know why. i’m interested in the space between sensation and story—where habits form, where anxiety repeats itself, where attention drifts or locks in place. this piece doesn’t try to resolve those patterns or translate them into answers. instead, it stays with them. the choreography is built from noticing: how bodies move around one another, how effort accumulates, how stillness can feel charged, how we keep going even when something underneath is unsettled. this work comes from a desire to be honest about what it feels like to live inside these shifting internal states, and to let the body speak where language usually falls short. i don’t ask the audience to understand the work so much as to sit with it, and notice what happens in themselves.
