About

TakeMoreCare is an independent initiative by Lili M. Rampre and Valerie Wehrens, supported by PACT Zollverein. The monthly exchange platform came to life by merging a feedback format developed during the #TakeCare residencies at PACT with the choreographical-dramaturgical co-working framework Institut für Ausufernde Dramaturgien (IfAD).

Lili M. Rampre (she, her) bridges the worlds of art and science. After obtaining the master in dance from HfMDK Frankfurt and she has entered another one in technology in sports and medicine from Cologne. Her work integrates these fields, deepening her focus on artistic research as a nexus of embodiment, technology, and knowledge production. Through a.pass and Research Cycle at P.A.R.T.S. in Brussels, she developed choreographic practice focusing on body knowledge and its transmission in an era of increasing human-technology integration. Lili is currently a PhD student at Cergy University in France.

Valerie Wehrens (no pronouns / she) works as a freelance dramaturg in the field of Contemporary Dance and Performance in North-Rhine Westphalia, Germany. Additionally to working with choreographers as a critical-creative dialogue partner for their stage projects and developing self-initiated performative writing projects, Valerie is dedicated to organizing formats of co-working, exchange and feedback for artists. One example of this is TakeMoreCare for which Lili and Valerie have hosted online and live events together since 2022. Next to working artistically, Valerie is organized in several activist collectives: the Awareness Collective of the Initiative for Feminist Circus, the Queertopolis Collective, and the Queer Lapdance Collective. Valerie holds a M.A. in Dance Studies and a B.A. in Theater Studies and Social Sciences.
