About

Terry Galloway is a deaf, queer playwright, poet, essayist, and performer. Her formative years were split between Germany and Texas. She holds a degree in American Studies from the University of Texas, Austin. In the early ‘80s she began presenting her one-woman shows at W.O.W., Limbo Lounge, PS 122, the Women’s Project and American Place Theater. She's published a play, a book of poetry, a performance text, comic and dramatic monologues, and a handful of articles. Her more personal life could be the subject of gossipy speculation.
