About

moss lovejoy (they/he, performer/choreographer/educator/scholar) makes dance to feel community, control, catharsis…sometimes these things are at odds with each other, and moss expects to be working through that for quite some time. Meanwhile, they earned a BFA in Dance from the University of the Arts (‘17) and an MFA in Dance from Sarah Lawrence College (‘23). He has performed at The Joyce Theater, Triskelion Arts, Brooklyn Arts Exchange, and Spoke the Hub, and shown work at Dixon Place, Arts On Site, Under St. Mark’s, and Brooklyn Music School among others.
